In the box you’ll find a quick start guide, but if you want the full user manual, you’ll need to download it from Olympus as a PDF file. This camera is feature dense, the user manual is 80+ pages long, and it should have been included in the box. Excellent qualify, ease of use with intuitive controls and great pictures. The tap control is very handy when wearing gloves under water.

All in all it’s a great little camera for the price. And don’t let the other guy scare you off from this camera. Pictures were dark, shutter speed slow…the first day. I thought let me give it a chance and play around with it. I bought this camera before a trip to Europe for two weeks. The battery never lasted throughout the day. I will be returning it. If you’re looking for a camera to wear while you’re floating the river or swimming in a pool/lake/ocean then this is it.

If you read the manual on it and learn the Canon beforehand it’s a pretty cool camera, but personally when I’m in the heat of the moment for an awesome shot I don’t want to be fiddling with buttons and trying to remember how to get to whatever setting I need. I give this camera an A+, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what improvements they make on it in the next couple years.

If you expect more of the camera, get something bigger and more elaborate but it will cost you. This camera is great, I mean waterproof, and you can’t beat it!

It takes super clear pictures and great video. Learn how to use some of the settings and you’ll have a great camera. I’ve owned about 5 point and shoot cameras and 2 SLRs. I think the majority of the bad reviews is caused by the average users basic knowledge of a camera, most people have no idea what half the settings are, or what they mean, so the bad picture quality, is their own fault.

I followed the guide given with the camera to help maintain and check for the waterproof feature and water got behind the screen and inside the lens. The pictures are looking great and the zoom is perfect for us. We travel a good bit and this camera is easy to use and easy to carry in my purse. The memory was so cheap that it wasn’t worth trying to return it. The bundle gets four stars while the camera gets five. This is by far one of the toughest little cameras I have ever seen. I recommend it and to those of you who have had issues with yours, consider sending them back for a replacement.

1. Hold down the Cmd/Ctrl key while at the same time clicking on a layer in Photoshop’s main image window to auto-select a layer.

2) Remove Color – Removing all color from an image without going into gray scale mode simply press Shift Cmd/Ctrl U (‘De saturate’) while still in RGB mode to make your image gray scale. Another option is to use the channel mixer which will actually create a better result. In this option, all you need to do is click on the Gray scale option.

3. Press Cmd/Ctrl J to copy a selection into its own layer. Press Shift Cmd/Ctrl J to cut and move a selection.

4. To hide the ‘marching ants’ (selection marquee). Press Ctrl/Cmd H

5. If you are using the Lasso Tools, and want to set a feather, just press the Return/Enter key and the Feather field in the Options palette will highlight and you can enter or change the value.

6. To fill a layer or selection with the foreground color, press Alt/Option Delete. To fill a layer or selection with the background colour, press Cmd/Ctrl Delete.

7. Press the [ ] keys to change the brush size. By holding the shift key down and pressing the [and ] keys, the brush will get softer and harder, respectively. You can adjust the level up to five times.

8. If your version of Photoshop is without the Spot Healing Brush, double click on the Blur Tool and in the Options palette, decrease the opacity to 15% and change the mode to Lighten to remove the undesired scratches and blemishes. When you paint over these marks, they will disappear before you eyes.

9. Photoshop will draw straight lines for you. Using any of the brush tools, click, hold the Shift key and click again where you want your line to end. Photoshop will literally connect the dots. This can work with most any tool from erasers to even the highlight tool in the Extract filter.

10. In the Layers palette, when you choose Duplicate Layer, you can change the document setting to ‘New’ to create a brand new picture from any layer.
